Demi Lovato is no stranger to struggling. At the age of 18 the "Heart Attack" singer checked into rehab to deal with "emotional and physical issues" and has no problem speaking about her transformation. Now she is offering her friend Miley Cyrus a little advice.

When E! News caught up with Lovato and asked her about Cyrus' new song "We Can't Stop" and the former Disey star, Lovato had one thing to say: "Just be careful."

"I think it's great. I think it's a good song," Lovato said. "She knows how I feel about the whole partying thing."

Lovato said she thinks it's great that people enjoy the song and can have a good time to it but urges the professed "party animal" to be careful. In a YouTube video for MTV News Cyrus said that she feels she is often misunderstood by the public and even though she loves to party she is "also the hardest working person you'll ever know."

'I love her to death," she said. "And I'm always like, 'Just be careful.' And she's like 'Dude, I'm chilling. It's fine.'"

Even though Lovato is just looking out for her friend she did say that she thinks Cyrus has a good head on her shoulders and believes she will be just fine.

Cyrus recently confessed to the Daily Mail that she was singing about drugs (Molly) on her hit new song even though the song's producers denied it.

"It depends on who's doing what. If you're aged ten [the lyric is] Miley, if you know what I'm talking about then you know," she told the Daily Mail. "I just wanted it to be played on the radio and they're already had to edit too much."

The star complained to the British newspaper that her video had to be edited too much before the MTV UK would air it. They made the 20-year-old censor when she was making oral sex gestures with her mouth.
