Add China to the list of countries that is willing to help Iran.

According to The Washington Free Beacon, China is joining Russia in assisting the Middle Eastern nation build nuclear plants.

The report states China will help Iran build five new plants, all similar to the one that is already up and running in Bushehr. Russia is helping build two of them.

Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), made the announcement on Tuesday.

"This is the reason why we have inked an agreement with the Russians to construct two nuclear power plants for the generation of electricity while the Chinese will also enter this arena soon," he said. "The Islamic Republic of Iran plans to produce at least 190,000 SWUs (Separative Work Units) of nuclear fuel at the industrial scale, while we also think about 1,000,000 SWUs, which will be needed to fuel 5 power plants like Bushehr.".

The decision will most likely not sit well with the United States. President Barack Obama came under fire recently for negotiating the framework of a nuclear deal with Iran that Congress does not think is strict enough. As of yesterday, Congress officially has a say in any potential deal, which seemingly is now more complicated.

Talking about the framework of a deal with American, Kamalvandi said Tehran will keep the Fordow nuclear facility and operate more than 1,000 centrifuges there. He added that in a decade research on nuclear development will return to what is is currently at.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that the State Department said what Iran is doing is still allowed under the current deal.
