Apple plans on using this year's Worldwide Developers Conference as a chance to unveil its line of future products.

The tech giant announced Tuesday that it will hold the event from June 8 to 12 at Moscone West in San Francisco, Calif., adding that it will reveal new operating system software for iOS and OS X, according to Mac Rumors.

"The App Store ignited an app ecosystem that is simply amazing, forever changing the lives of customers and creating millions of jobs worldwide," Philip Schiller, senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing at Apple, said in a statement. "We've got incredible new technologies for iOS and OS X to share with developers at WWDC and around the world, and can't wait to see the next generation of apps they create."

Over 1,000 Apple engineers will take part in WWDC 2015, which will also feature over 100 technical sessions, hands-on labs, and the Apple Design Awards.

Other unveilings expected to take place at the five-day event include that of a new design for Apple's music app, as well as information about Apple's work with IBM on health data, CNET reported.

WWDC 2015 will take place a week and a half after Google will host its own developer conference.

Apple recommended that all developers apply for tickets for WWDC 2015 through an official medium, adding that it will accept all applications through Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. PT, LearnBonds reported. Applicants will receive an official message from Apple the following Monday that will let them know if they can attend the event.
