Is the upcoming "Jurassic World" film starring Chris Pratt sexist?

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" filmmaker Joss Whedon is questioning the gender rules of the big-screen sequel set to be released this June.

When the website The Mary Sue tweeted that the editors were "too busy fanning ourselves to talk more about Chris Pratt" in the extended "Jurassic World" clip, Whedon called out the apparent sexism in the movie.

Whedon was referencing the trailer where Owen Grady (Pratt) argues with Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) over how to treat a genetically enhanced mutant dinosaur. The conversation, which is filled with obvious tension, features Owen suggestively inviting Claire to have a business conversation with him in his bungalow before mocking her for previously planning a date with him on a spreadsheet.
