Everyone knows the Oakland Raiders are in desperate need of some offensive talent, specifically at wide receiver. Oakland is confident that second-year passer Derek Carr can develop into a bona fide franchise quarterback. However, he'll never reach his full potential if the weapons (and I use that term loosely) around him don't improve. As a result, Alabama's Amari Cooper and West Virginia's Kevin White have been mentioned numerous times as likely targets in the NFL Draft.

But even with the glaring need for a wide receiver, is it possible that the Raiders would be interested in USC defensive lineman Leonard Williams with the fourth overall pick?

"In a word, yes," ESPN Raiders reporter Bill Williamson wrote. "I think Oakland would do backflips if Williams fell to them at No. 4. While anything can happen on draft night, I'd be completely shocked if Williams is bypassed by Oakland if he is on the board at No. 4. I have gotten the sense Oakland is extremely high on Williams and he is the player the Raiders most covet."

Leonard Williams is considered by many draft experts to be the best overall prospect in this year's draft class. He can rush the passer, he can play the run, he can occupy blockers and he can penetrate opposing backfields. Basically, he can do everything you'd ever ask of a defensive lineman.

Unfortunately, that also means that he will have several other suitors. ESPN NFL Draft Insider Mel Kiper Jr. projects Williams to be selected third overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in his Mock Draft 4.0. Some draft rumors even suggest that the Tennessee Titans could pull the trigger on Williams at No. 2. Either way, it's a long shot that Williams reaches the Raiders at No. 4, not matter how badly the team wants him.
