Nokia has unveiled the latest Lumia 625 with a 4.7-inch super-sensitive LCD screen.

Nokia has a new addition to its Lumia family with the latest Lumia 625, first Lumia smartphone with 4.7-inch large screen. The latest trend of phablets, smartphones with large screen sizes and tablet capabilities, is widely accepted by consumers.

The competition in the mobile market has led to the invention of latest technologies. Nokia Lumia 625's large screen is in competition with Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, but does not rank on the same page with its specifications.

The mid-range Windows Phone powered device runs on 1.2-GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB RAM and supports super-fast 4G speed. The large-sized phone is packed with 2,000 mAh battery with a promise to offer more than 15 hours of battery life. Lumia 625 sports a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. For photo enthusiasts, the 625 includes integrated camera applications such as Nokia Smart Camera and Nokia Cinemagraph, which is found on Lumia 1020. It includes 8GB of internal storage for music, videos, images and more and is expandable up to 64GB with a MicroSD card.

The physical appearance of the Lumia 625 is a slight mixture of its previous models with a curved back like the Lumia 720 and rounded edges like the high-end 920. The 4.7-inch display is protected with Gorilla Glass 2 and features screen resolution of 800 x 480, same as Lumia 620 but 201 pixels per inch compared to 620's 245 pixels per inch.

The Lumia 625 will be available in five colors including orange, green, yellow, white and black with an estimated price tag of £200 ($308) in Europe, according toCNET News. The device will hit the shelves across U.K. in September and in third quarter this year across China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
