Amazon, world's largest online retailer, released a list of the best music, movies and TV shows for the first six months of 2013.

The list contains a "variety of blockbuster, hit-making and buzz-worthy entertainment" that are available on Amazon.com. The rankings were compiled after collecting data from best-selling rankings, curated editor picks and spotlight selections.

"Whether music, movies or TV, our mid-year lists highlight the diversity we see every day at Amazon," Sarah Wood, head of U.S. entertainment, Amazon.com, said in a press statement. "Our customers continue to take advantage of our broad selection of both digital and physical entertainment choices while our editors, well-versed in their specific categories, consistently provide a mix of top choices from mainstream artists and blockbuster films to under-the-radar and genre specific entertainment helping spur new discovery for customers."
