Rap star Sean 'Diddy' Combs is getting ready to take on South Park as the producer of a new rival show with "King of the Hill" writer Chip Hall.

The duo is creating an animated series called "Brightmoor" that they describe as " the black South Park," according to MTV. The show will follow a group of African-American students at Brightmoor Elementary.

FX is developing the show and hopes it will become as big of a hit as Archer, its first animated hit, MTV reported. Since Archer FX attempted to bring on animated comedy shows "Unsupervised" and "Chozen" but neither took off.

"Brightboor" will be written by Chip Hall, who also wrote "King of the Hill which ran from 1993 to 2010. It will also be produced by Combs - who also produced reality TV shows "Making the Band," "StarMaker," and "Run's House;" as well as TV movie "A Raisin in the Sun" and the film "Notorious."

This new show could potentially become South Park's biggest TV rival, though the cartoon comedy created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker has become the third longest-running animated series in the U.S. since it came on air in 1997, reported Philly
