Kylie Jenner's latest Instagram pics are sparking a racial debate as the "KUWTK" star appears to be sporting blackface in photos from a recent shoot.

The 17-year-old is pictured wearing violet contact lenses and "dark, shimmering" makeup, which many critics are referring to as blackface.

"Making MAGiC w/ KYLiZZLE. PEEPS BE GETTING TURNT UP ON THIS SKIN SITCH. BLACK LIGHTS & NEON. Does no body know about lighting ??" she captioned her first picture.

"What I wish I looked like all the time," she added to the post, which was deleted shortly afterward.

Kylie took to Twitter to further clarify her statement and wrote, "Yes, In another world I wish I could have pink hair & blue eyes & covered in sparkles. But in this world I'm happy w the way God created me. Happy Easter everybody."

Social media users quickly criticized the model's look, while a select few offered praise in regards to the bold makeup, according to People.

Disney channel star Zendaya initially admired the photos, but then retracted her positive statements, tweeting, "At first, I saw more of an avatar look but thank y'all for keepin me on point....we all gotta stay aware of what image we project #lessons."

Jenner's makeup, though dark, seems to be a plum color, and her hair was a mix of indigo, purple and hot pink, but it's unclear whether or not the reality star was wearing a wig, E! Online reported.

Jenner credited her beauty team for the futuristic look, and despite all of the negative attention from the controversial pictures, there has been no word on what the photo shoot was actually promoting.

"This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down," she wrote on one of the pictures, and "Goodnight" on her final post.
