The Oklahoma City Thunder battle the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday in a potential NBA playoff preview.  Tipoff is at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched via the live stream link provided below.

It's possible these two teams meet at some point in the Western Conference playoffs, with No. 3 Memphis (51-24) having clinched a playoff berth and Oklahoma City (42-33) struggling to hang onto the No. 8 seed.

The Thunder have only a 1 1/2-game lead for the West's eighth seed, which wasn't helped by Wednesday's 135-131 loss to Dallas.  Offense wasn't a problem Wednesday, with three players - Russell Westbrook, Anthony Morrow and Enes Kanter - scoring at least 30 points, but Oklahoma City's defense just couldn't hold its own against the Mavericks' offense.

"Everybody looked themselves in the mirror," Morrow told the team's official website, via ESPN. "Everyone has to lock in on being alert and physical to start the game. You can't give scorers confidence and let them run around freely."

In terms of stats, though, Wednesday improved Westbrook's standing in the MVP race by giving him eighth triple-double - 31 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists - since the All-Star break.

Memphis, meanwhile, snapped its three-game losing streak with 97-83 win on Monday against Sacramento.  After winning the first two games this season against Oklahoma City, the Grizzlies were blown out 105-89 on Feb. 11.  A win on Friday would give Memphis the series.
