After having bladder issues for 20 years that always gave him the urge to go, a British man has been cured. Tests revealed the all but conventional reason why the man was suffering, and believe it or not, it's quite Easter themed.

The New England Journal of Medicine reported there was a 10 cm long, 7.5 cm wide egg-shaped mass pressing on the man's bladder. For 20 years, it applied pressure and continuously made him feel like he urgently had to relieve himself.

A CT scan of the man's abdominal area showed what looked like a large, smooth egg inside the man. When the doctors investigated further, which involved getting a look at the mass with a camera, they described it as "free-floating, smooth, firm and rubbery," which wound up weighing more than 7.5 ounces. It was classified as a "peritoneal loose body," which usually do not grow to be bigger than 5cm wide, according to Daily Mail.

The journal explained that a peritoneal loose body supposedly forms when fat in the colon becomes loose. Over time, they get calcified.

In order to show its multiple layers, doctors dyed the mass green.
