The first trailer has been released for the new documentary that chronicles the life of the late Amy Winehouse.

Winehouse, who rose to stardom for her 2006 hit "Rehab," battled drug and alcohol addiction, and had several health issues because of her habits.

The Grammy-winning artist admitted that she had an eating disorder and suffered from depression.

"Amy" documents both the English singer's struggles and triumphs, and exposes her real perception of fame, according to People.

In the teaser, Winehouse seems bothered by the idea of fame, and when asked "how big" she thinks she is going to be, she gave an answer that screamed fear and a lack of confidence.

"I don't," the soul singer replied. "I don't think I'm going to be at all famous. I don't think I could handle it. I would probably go mad."

Winehouse had a deep, bluesy voice that not many will be able to replicate.

The troubled artist passed away in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning, and joined the infamous "27 Club" - a group that refers to a number of musicians who died at that age, such as Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain.

"Amy," directed by Asif Kapadia, is set to be released sometime in July.
