Did the guests of the infamous Red Wedding on HBO's hit show "Game of Thrones" have it coming? CNN reports that British actor David Bradley, who plays the nefarious Walder Frey, enjoyed the role immensely, and future co-star Mark Gatiss is excited to play a surprise role on the show.

In case you haven't seen the episode that got everyone talking and reacting online to the show's shocking event that rocked the entire fan community, including book readers who already knew it was bound to happen, I will do my best here to avoid any spoilers, though if you haven't yet seen (or read about) the Red Wedding, you may want to stop reading now just in case.

Bradley recently arrived at Comic-Con with fellow British actor Mark Gatiss to discuss their upcoming BBC film, "An Adventure In Space and Time." Gatiss is officially joining the cast of "Game of Thrones," though his role remains a surprise.

"I'm not allowed to tell you," Gatiss said. "I've done my filming. I'm glad I didn't tell anyone before this since it's a big secret. The announcement of [my casting] was obviously timed for Comic-Con and I'm rather overwhelmed with the reaction, honestly. It's a great show with so many brilliant people in it."

Though his time filming the show was fairly show, he didn't reveal anything about how it would factor in his role. "What's interesting is that it's such a huge, sprawling cast and people seem to be there for ages, but they actually shoot two or three days and that's it," he said. "Once it's put together it looks like everybody must be there for weeks and weeks and weeks."

Bradley felt that this season of "Game of Thrones" was the most exciting for him and his villanous character, especially in the penultimate season 3 episode, "The Rains of Castamere."

"I felt intense pleasure [killing the guests of the Red Wedding], which was alarming," Bradley said of watching the episode. "I'd do it all again if I had the chance. They got what was going to them!"

As he hasn't read George R. R. Martin's books on which the show is based on, Bradley admitted he is uncertain of his character's fate.

"I don't know what the future is on 'Game of Thrones,' " he said. "I was on Season 1 and I'm just finishing Season 3 and I'm moving on to Season 4 now, but whether I'll be thereabouts (going forward) I just don't know. It would be nice, but I just don't know yet."
