A rabbit named Buttercup is available for adoption from the Seattle Animal Shelter (2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA).

Buttercup seeks a permanent residence that has a big closed-in space where he can play and where his owners will give him tons of love and attention when he wants it. The furry pet does not like to be held, but he is great at using his litter box so caretakers will not have to worry about cleaning up any mess on the floor or anywhere else besides the pan - a great thing!

Buttercup's foster parents describe the animal as cute, extremely smart and adventurous, according to Seattle's Queen Anne View Neighborhood News blog

Those interested in adopting Buttercup can call the SAS foster care at (206) 684-0685 to inquire about visiting the fuzzy animal. SAS is open for visits Tuesdays through Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

Animal lovers can also call the facility's staff at (206) 386-7387 or fax (206) 386-4285 to figure out if a new pet fits with their home's atmosphere.
