Watch out for the Wolves.

If there is one big takeaway from Sunday night's season five finale of "The Walking Dead," it's that the identity and motives of the Wolves have been revealed... and they are a dangerous group.

Luckily for both groups in Alexandria, Morgan is back. He's the only person connected to Rick's group that firsthand knows what the Wolves are like. Even if his conversation with one only lasted a few minutes, it's clear what kind of people they are. Not only does Morgan have that knowledge, but he is in a better state, mentally and physically, than he was the last time we saw him.

If it wasn't for Morgan's "life is precious" outlook, Daryl and Aaron may have died like rats, trapped in a car surrounded by crowds of walkers. The bad news is, if two people as smart and skillful in the wild as Aaron and Daryl were fooled by the Wolves trap of the food trucks that looked too good to be true, the rest of the group is in trouble.

The character who is closest to Morgan's foil, oddly enough, is now Rick. Once upon a time, Morgan was completely out of it emotionally and Rick was the sane one. It's not an extreme shift, but the tables seemed to have turned. Rick openly apologzied to his group for his scuffle with Pete two episodes ago, telling them he "hit his limit." Morgan seems to be at peace now, very far from where his mind once was.

But after preaching for 90 minutes about how important reincarntation and second chances are, Morgan finally makes it to Alexandria just in time to see Rick standing over Pete and pulling the trigger to kill him execution style. Sure, Deanna ordered Rick to do it after Pete gruesomely slashed her husband's throat, and one can assume that will be explained to Morgan, but it still made for a draw-dropping moment in a rather out of the ordinary "Walking Dead" season finale.

In season finales past, main characters were slain, sanctuaries were destroyed. Neither happened on Sunday night's episode. Glenn had a very close call, as did Daryl, but this season finale seemed to plant the seeds for a very intense season six premiere. Thanks to the photos Aaron accidently left behind at their trap, the Wolves know what Rick and the survivors look like. Aaron, Daryl and Morgan could not have returned to Alexandria at a better time.

The factions that have been splitting at the seams in the "safe-zone" are going to need to unite in order to defend the inevitable attack from the Wolves. One big question wasn't answered on the season five finale though. With the Wolves' presence finally being revealed, where does Enid fit into all of this?
