Blake Shelton's new music video for "Sangria" will make you need a glass of water - it's hot.

"Sangria" is a passionate love song, and the country star's accompanying video is even more passionate, capturing the essence of desire. The video features a couple being intimate with one another and placing their hands up and down each other's bodies, which of course, parallels with the song's key lyrics.

"Your skin is begging to be kissed by a little more than the sun/ You take my hand in yours, you lean in/ and your lips taste like sangria, your lips taste like sangria."

"'Sangria' is one of the sexiest songs I've ever cut," the 38-year-old singer said, according to ABC News Radio. "It sounds like something that came from a different time, almost like something Chris Isaak would have had on one of his records at some point. It's just about one of those nights where you drink too much and you're gonna end up hookin' up with this person, it's just inevitable. It's not too over the top, but it's pure sex - that's the only way I know to describe that song."

With its, at times, Mexican-sounding string of guitar notes and medium tempo, the song works to evoke a particular sultry mood.

"Sangria" resembles a story being told, rather than belted, as Shelton does in some of his other classic hits. The song is the third single off of "Bringing Back the Sunshine," Shelton's ninth studio album.

The ballad concludes with the powerful lyrics, "Only thing I want to do tonight is drink you like a Spanish wine/ Let you let this head of mine keep spinning, spinning around."

The video has an even more intimate vibe because parts of it were filmed at The Ladysmith, Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert's new bed-and-breakfast in the couple's adopted hometown of Tishomingo, Okla., according to People.
