Lollapalooza released its highly anticipated 2015 lineup on Wednesday.

Paul McMcartney is headlining and making his debut at the festival in Chicago's Grant Park, alongside Metallica, who last played the event in 1996. The former Beatle is closing out the first night, July 31, while Metallica will be the final band to take the stage on Aug. 1, according to USA Today. The headliner of the final night, Aug. 2, isn't yet known.

More than 130 artists will perform alongside the headliners, including Sam Smith, Florence and the Machine, Bassnectar, Alabama Shakes, alt-J, The Weeknd and Of Monsters and Men.

"Young talented artists will be performing alongside legends," festival founder and front man of Jane's Addiction, Perry Farrell, told the AP.

Three-day passes sold out on Tuesday before the lineup was even announced. Single-day passes were released at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and are no longer available.
