Tina Turner has tied the knot with her longtime partner Erwin Bach in a civil ceremony in Switzerland, Reuters reports.

Turner, 73, and Bach, a German-born record producer, wed at the registry office in the Kuesnacht suburb of Zurich where they currently reside. The couple met in 1985 at a record label party in London and began dating a year later.

"Turner had the civil ceremony a few days ago," Kuesnacht official Hannes Friess told Reuters on Wednesday.

Friess adds, "There will be a private celebration in Küsnacht on Sunday, [July 21]. We do not have any information about names or number of guests."

The legendary singer, a longtime Buddhist, and Bach will celebrate the union at their Küsnacht manor on Sunday with an intimate Buddhist ceremony attended by 120 guests, according to the report.

The "What's Love Got to do With it" singer is slated to wear a Giorgio Armani gown for the event. In attendance, other musical legens including David Bowie, Italian music star Eros Ramazzotti and Sade are expected to attend the nuptials and party, along with TV mogul and friend, Oprah Winfrey, according to Swiss outlet Schweiz am Sonntag. The report also notes that the wedding guests have been asked to wear white.

Tina Turner, whose real name is Anna Mae Bullock, was previously married to the musician Ike Turner, who died in 2007 from a cocaine overdose.
