It's no fair to the household cat if dogs get all the fun, which is likely why the popular dog sitting site DogVacay is finally offering its services to cats.

DogVacay is a popular dog-sitting website that hooks dog parents up with a dog sitter when the family goes away on vacation.

Some of the registered dog sitters on the site said they were willing to watch cats as well, so when CatVacay was launched on March 10, the site already had 10,000 registered cat sitters, reported ABC News

Sitters from DogVacay and CatVacay have to go through a five-step strict screening process that includes interviews, video training and reference checks, according to the website

The main difference between the cat and dog portions of the site is that CatVacay is more for people who want the cat to be watched inside their home, whereas DogVacay is primarily focused on the dog going to someone else's home, ABC News reported.

When a cat owner hires a sitter through CatVacay, they can choose if they wish for the sitter to pop in and check up on the feline or for the sitter to stay overnight.
