The Obama administration is just now getting around to sending the remaining 80,000 corrected tax forms to people on health care plans through Obamacare, less than a month before the IRS tax deadline on April 15, according to The Hill.

In early February, it was revealed that over 800,000 taxpayers had received incorrect tax information regarding their Obamacare subsidies. The administration said at the time that forms with correct information would be sent out in the first week of March.

But the 1095-A forms still haven't been sent out yet. Officials said the remaining 80,000 are scheduled to finally be sent out this week. The other 740,000 of the corrected forms are supposedly in the mail and available online, reported The Hill.

Republicans pointed out how difficult it was for even the administration to administer its own law.

Mark Mazur, assistant Treasury secretary for tax policy, told reporters that "we don't know how many [people] have already filed" their taxes with incorrect information, reported The Hill. "We think it's a relatively small number."

Because of the error, thousands of people who filed with the wrong information are expected to mistakenly receive a tax credit meant to subsidize the health insurance coverage. The administration previously said it thought about 50,000 people had filed with the wrong information, but Mazur clarified that the real number is not known. Either way, the administration said on Friday that those people would not have to refile and could keep the extra tax credit.
