A Texas cow delivered quadruplets on March 16 - and her owners didn't even know she was pregnant!

Dora Rumsey-Barling and her husband, Jimmy, told KLTV (an ABC affiliate) that the mother cow was circling a spot about 500-yards from the house. When they went to the spot, they learned that she had just delivered three calves!

But she wasn't done yet.

"She lay down and the fourth one started coming out and we watched the birth of the fourth one," Dora told KLTV. "It was really exciting. The adrenaline was flowing with us!"

The odds of a cow delivering quadruplets that all survive is only about one in 11.2 million, reported KLTV.

"We didn't think she was due, even for one calf," Dora told KLTV, who later named the four calves Eeny, Meeny, Miny and Moo.

Michael Baird, a neighbor and local veterinarian, came over after the cow's delivery to help her remove her afterbirth and give her antibiotics.

"This is truly an amazing event if you are into this sort of thing," Baird wrote on Facebook.
