A Nantucket, Mass. man wrestled a seven-foot shark onto the shore line of beach. Eliot Sudal was captured on video and in pictures dragging the sea creature out of the water up onto the sand, ABC News reports. Sudal said it was his favorite thing to do and has already caught over 100 sharks in the last eight months.

The 24-year-old man, originally from Florida, moved to Nantucket to take a job as a boat operator at Nantucket Mooring Company.

"First of all, I'm obsessed with fishing," Sudal told ABC. "I've caught over 100 sharks in the last eight months. It's my favorite thing to do."

It's hard to believe that this man could grapple with a beast that many fear but spectators and the Nantucket Police Marine Department confirmed to ABC News that he did in fact take down the shark all by himself.

Sudal said he was out fishing with his friends when he sensed that there were sharks nearby because the bluefish he was using on the end of line were being eaten in half.

"It just kind of seemed sharky," he said. "There was something coming by and chomping them [the bluefish] in half. I thought, 'It's got to be a shark.'"

Instead of running and screaming like most would do, Sudal put one of the bluefish on the line and cast it back out and within two minutes he could feel the shark on the other end of his line. He told ABC that he grappled with the sea beast for about 45 minutes but was getting tired so he handed the line over to his cousin and went into the water to get the shark himself.

He said in order not to get hurt he has to make sure he grabs the shark by the tail and drag it out the water. Not really an easy task but Sudal did it. He said about 20 people gathered around to watch but most of them weren't sure if they needed to help him or just leave him alone.

"I've been fishing for everything since I was a kid," he said. "I got into this shark thing about two years ago. It's just like this epic battle between you and this sea beast. You can't go back to a little fish after that. Everything else is bait."

Sudal said that even though shark catching is a hobby of his, he does care about the animals and always let them back into the water.
