Mr. T, born Lawrence Tureaud, is taking his Mohawk to DIY Network, according to The Hollywood Reporter, for a new show called "I Pity the Tool," named after his trademark line "I pity the fool."

The former WWE star and two-time winner of NBC's America's Toughest Bouncer will host the straight-to-series show in which he and his design team (not the A-Team) tear down outmoded spaces to give families transformed rooms. HGTV Design Star winner and interior designer Tiffany Brooks will help with the make-over magic.

The series will debut this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Mr. T hosted six episodes of TV Land's short-lived "I Pity the Fool," a reality show in which Mr. T travelled and doled out advice.

"I Pity the Tool" joins DIY's lineup of celebrity-turned-designer shows like "The Vanilla Ice Project" (hosted by the '90s rapper), "Daryl's Restoration Over-Hall" (hosted by Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates), "The Shatner Project" (hosted by William Shatner) and "Rev Run's Renovation" (hosted by Run DMC's Rev Run).
