Maroon 5 singer and The Voice judge, Adam Levine, proposed to his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend Behati Prinsloo and are now engaged, his representative confirmed to People.

"Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married," a representative confirmed to People. "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles."

Levine, 34, began dating Prinsloo, 24, a year ago following his split from fellow model and longtime girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna. However, Levine and Prinsloo have also had a bumpy relationship after they parted ways briefly earlier this year. Levine was then spotted out with Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal, but later made up with Prinsloo.

The Namibian-born model celebrated the announcement of the couple's engagement on Wednesday by posting a photo to Instagram in which she's wearing nothing but a bra and panties. "Oh, snap," the Victoria's Secret Angel wrote yesterday along with the photo.

Prinsloo became the face of Victoria's Secret brand Pink in 2008 and has appeared on "Hawaii Five-O."

Levine said on Oprah's Last Chapter in June: "I want to probably be married at some point. I don't feel pressure to get married. I think that when it's time, it's going to be obvious and I'm going to do it and I'm going to really enjoy it."

Meanwhile, Levine and Maroon 5 will begin a 31-city tour Aug. 1 in St. Louis.
