The first non-Wolverine "X-Men" spinoff film will be released in less than a year, and fans cannot wait to get their first glimpse of the famous anti-hero "Deadpool." Everyone knows that Ryan Reynolds will be portraying the titular character, but the rest of the cast has yet to be filled out entirely.

Morena Baccarin ("Homeland," "Gotham") will be joining him as the female lead. Now, we know that the hilarious T.J. Miller ("Silicon Valley," "Big Hero 6") will also be along for the ride as Weasel, according to ScreenRant.com.

In Marvel Comics, Weasel is Wade Wilson/Deadpool's buddy and support system. He helps our antihero with weapons, information, and other aspects of the operation. T.J. Miller has played a long list of characters that are endearingly frustrating, as Weasel is, so this won't be too big of a leap for him.

"Deadpool" is a very important property for Fox. The studio is attempting to compete with Disney/Marvel by ramping up production on its Marvel characters, which is why fans are getting a rebooted "Fantastic Four" this year and "Deadpool" and "Gambit" are coming next year. Fox is hoping to add to the cache it built with fans with the immense success of "X-Men: Days of Future Past." "Deadpool" will be one of the major steps in that process.
