Three rare phenomenons are set to happen on Friday, which has some on the internet shouting "end of days." A total solar eclipse will occur on Friday, as well as a Supermoon and the Spring equinox.

Those that believe that the eclipse hails in the end times also cite the volatile stock market, same-sex marriages and Middle East unrest, according to The Independent.

According to the Independent, the co- founder of the Christian website Root Source, Bob O'Dell, told WorldNetDaily that the celestial messages were a message of judgment from God. "The North Pole can't really be called the territory of any particular nation or people," O'Dell said, according to The Independent. "This is likely a message from God to the entire world."

While O'Dell believes that all on Earth should prepare, a pastor told WorldNetDaily that those that live in the areas affected by the eclipse are the people who should truly be worried. "In Jewish tradition, a total solar eclipse is a warning to the Gentiles and a sign of judgment on the nations," the pastor said, according to the Independent. "When we look at where the darkness will be, it will be in northern European countries like England and Sweden where we see the rise of Islam and anti-Israel sentiment. Europeans especially should take heed."

Those that believe this theory also call upon the "Blood Moon Prophecy" as proof. According to Wikipedia, "The Blood Moon Prophecy is a theory studied and taught by some Christian ministers, such as John Hagee and Mark Biltz, which states that an ongoing tetrad (a series of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, with six full moons in between, and no intervening partial lunar eclipses) which began with the April 2014 lunar eclipse is a sign of the end times."

According to Wikipedia and The Independent, the Christian Bible's Book of Joel states that "the sun will turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes," which to some corresponds to the phenomenon that occurs when the moon turns copper red as it passes under the Earth's shadow.
