NBA 2K14 is gearing up to hand us another outstanding game for the 2013-2014 NBA season. While 2K Sports hasn’t released a plethora of information on the new game, we expect them to deliver based on their great track record.

While we wait, NBA 2K wants to know which new look team fans are most excited about using in the game, according to Gameranx.com. Since the Free Agency period began on July 1, we have seen some pretty big moves highlighted by the Nets acquisition of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett and the Rockets signing of Dwight Howard.

Therefore, NBA 2K posed on its Facebook page:

The NBA landscape has seen some major player movement since the free agency period began. What new-look teams are you most looking forward to in NBA 2K14?

It’s an interesting question. Will you look to use the new-look Nets who have a scoring option at every position? Or would you rather run the pick-and-roll play with Dwight Howard and James Harden over and over again?

Personally, I can’t wait to use the Golden State Warrior with the addition of Andre Iguodala. With the Warriors you can adjust the starting lineups to have “Iggy” play the four, Barnes play the three and the “Splash Twins”—Steph Curry and Klay Thompson—play the one and two respectively. Then, you can interchange David Lee and Andrew Bogut depending on whether you need scoring with Lee or a defensive presence inside with Bogut.

The fun part will be running a fast break and choosing to throw an alley-oop—to either Barnes or Iguodala—or kick it out to Curry or Thompson for a transition three.

While it isn’t clear how far the Warriors will go in the 2013-2014 season, they will definitely win some games in “NBA 2K14.”
