El Salvador meets Haiti on Monday in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage.  The match begins at 7 p.m. ET.  Watch the live stream HERE

Both teams need a win to advance to the next round.  El Salvador needs a win to clinch a spot in the quarterfinals, and Haiti needs only a draw to advance, FutNSoccer.com reports.

Despite entering the tournament with low expectations, Haiti is in solid position to advance from the group stage.  Haiti lost its opening match against Honduras, 0-2, but bounced back to defeat Trinidad & Tobago, 2-0.  With three points keeping the Caribbean team very much alive in Group B, Haiti could conceivably advance even with a loss — provided the Cuba and Belize match ends in a draw, or if the winner doesn't top Haiti's goal differential (+0) and Trinidad & Tobago doesn't win.

El Salvador has a tougher road to the quarterfinals.  The team's opening match against Trinidad & Tobago ended in a 2-2 draw, and it lost to Honduras in the following match, 1-0.  El Salvador has a -1 goal differential and needs a win to automatically qualify for the next round.

A draw against Haiti leaves El Salvador needing Trinidad & Tobago to not win against Honduras, and the Cuba-Belize match to end in a draw.  If El Salvador loses on Monday, the team would need Honduras to defeat Trinidad & Tobago and the Cuba-Belize match to end in a draw, assuming El Salvador loses by less than four goals.

FutNSoccer.com expects an intense match between El Salvador and Haiti.  The site predicts Haiti to win, 2-1.
