Nicholas Brendon was arrested for the third time in less than a year after he allegedly destroyed a Florida hotel room on Friday.

Brendon called the Tallahassee Police Department to report his missing wallet and phone stolen, according to the Tallahassee Democrat. The police arrived at the Duval Hotel to find the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star in a "state of confusion."

He may have caused as much as $1,000 in damages by flipping over his bed and other furniture, according to court records obtained by the Democrat. He also broke a porcelain figurine, pulled the phone out of the wall and clogged the toilet.

Police found a prescription bottle that had been filled with 10 pills on Friday, but it had only one left in the container. Brendon, who has been suffering from depression, admitted to taking nine sleeping pills, which caused him to "black out" during the incident.

"I stopped taking my meds a while ago, which was a mistake," he told the Democrat. "It culminated yesterday with my taking some sleeping pills and then going into a blackout."

Brendon was set to headline the two-day ALT*Con pop culture festival. He was charged with property and criminal mischief and released on Saturday afternoon. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 30.

The "Criminal Minds" actor's arrest comes nearly a month after Fort Lauderdale, Fla., police charged him with felony grand theft and criminal mischief for an incident at a Hilton hotel, according to the Sun Sentinel. He was set to appear at the horror-themed Shock Pop Comiccon.

Last October, Brendon was arrested in Boise, Idaho, after showing signs of intoxication while he was in town for the Tree City Comic Con. He was charged with two misdemeanors: malicious injury to property and resisting or obstructing officers, according to CNN.
