During an interview on "The Howard Stern Show" Wednesday, Madonna opened up about a past relationship she had with one of the other biggest musicians in the world at the time, Us Magazine reported.

After Howard Stern brought up Madonna's highly censored interview on "The Late Show With David Letterman" in 1994, the singer explained that she was then dating Tupac Shakur, who always had her "riled up."

"I was mad at [Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot.," Madonna told Stern. "I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta."

She went on to say that she thought her history with Shakur, who was killed in a Las Vegas shooting in 1996, was public knowledge.
