It's been less than 48 hours since the last Apple Event, and rumors are already spreading about the next iPhone. The latest rumor points to some new tech features that could improve touch sensitivity on the iPhone, as well as the potential for a pink smartphone.

Apple has been working on the Force Touch technology for a long time. This technology is currently used in the Macbook mousepad and Apple Watch to give consumers the ability to use various movements on the touch pad to mean a variety of things. For example, the recent Apple Watch feature that lets you draw on your watch and send it to someone else you know can only happen because of Force Touch. The latest Wall Street Journal report makes it look like the Cupertino, Calif.-based company could incorporate that tech into an iPhone in the near future.

This would be a big move for Apple. The iPhone is a perfect device for Force Touch technology. Not only could a Force Touch screen provide users with new ways to interact with the iPhone, but it could also open the device up to some stylus accessories.

The other big announcement is that Apple could give the iPhone a pink aluminum case. For most of the iPhone's history, it came in either gold, silver, or space grey. If Apple adds a pink casing, it could help them attract a lot of female customers, as well as open the door to some new variations in case design. Apple has offered some color variety with the iPhone 5c, but those cases were made of plastic and were a lot flimsier.
