Joe Manganiello is sober and getting married.

Us Weekly reported that the 38-year-old "True Blood" alum confirmed that he and his fiancée Sofia Vergara have officially set a wedding date after he proposed to his Colombian beauty while they vacationed in Hawaii over Christmas.

Although he did not reveal the exact date, the "Magic Mike" heartthrob revealed he will be tying the knot sometime in the fall. The exciting news comes after Vergara previously admitted that she and Manganiello have struggled to set a date for their upcoming nuptials because of their hectic work schedules.

The two had originally planned on a summer wedding in Florida. Manganiello will be filming "Magic Mike XXL," while Vergara will be busy promoting "Hot Pursuit," co-starring Reese Witherspoon.

"We're kind of busy so we're trying to do it maybe [this] fall," Vergara, 42, told Access Hollywood in January. "It's going to be big. We started off with 20 [on the guest list], and now there's like pages and pages."

"We wanted to get married at a time when we can get away and make time for a honeymoon. So the wedding will probably be later this year," she added. "Summer is going to be too crazy."

On top of finally setting a wedding day, Manganiello is also celebrating being 12 years sober. While attending a screening of "The Resurrection of Jake The Snake," a documentary that focuses on the struggles of sobriety, the actor opened up about his struggles with sobriety and said that staying away from drinking is still ''near and dear'' to him.

"Of course sobriety is something near and dear to me," Joe explained to Us Weekly. "Twelve and a half years sober. So obviously this is something very close to my heart."

In 2013, Manganiello revealed that he became sober because alcohol was ruining his life and career.

"There was a period of about four years where I needed to quit drinking," he said. "The drinking got in the way [of my career]. My life was ruined. I was homeless, careless and broke with no career... it was worth it [to get sober]. It was one of those obstacles I needed to get over. Once again, I needed to clear the road in order for these things to happen."
