Justin Bieber has confessed that his male idol is 42-year-old Ben Affleck.

The 21-year-old singer is a huge fan of the way Affleck presents himself in his work along with his ability to take on numerous types of roles.

"I think his vibe is cool," Bieber said of the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star.

I guess that's who J-Biebs wants to be when he grows up . . . Ben Affleck, but he's not entirely ready to do so just yet.

"There's a part of me that I don't ever want to grow up. I want to always remain...to have that sense of purity inside of me where I don't...I don't want to lose that sense of purity," he said in a recent interview with Men's Health.

"[It's] almost like I grew up for the public but I didn't necessarily grow up. There were things I had to do, as far as the way I had to make relationships, and conversation, but as far as actually growing up, there were a lot of things I missed out on."

Bieber also wishes he could have an alter ego - like Affleck's superhero character - so he can escape from the paparazzi and crazy fans.

"I wish I had the Batman thing where people didn't know I was Bruce Wayne. Like I had a costume or something."

Though he may never be able to wear a cloak or a mask to shield his fame, the pop star still finds his achievements to be surreal.

"I never thought I'd see my own billboard on Sunset, in Hollywood," he said. "I remember just thinking that I'd never even go to Hollywood, living in a small town in Canada, just watching TV. That was never even a thought."

In the interview, Bieber also claimed that the biggest misconception about him is that people view him as "self-centered," but the hitmaker feels as if he is just "different."

Bieber was discovered as an artist at the young age of 13 and quickly won the hearts of the public with his sweet voice that made teenage girls flock to see him, but his heart is set on Ben Affleck; "Baby, baby, baby, Oooh!"

Oh yeah, the iconic hair flip also created a herd of Beliebers.

"I've always been different, and I haven't been afraid to be different," he said.
