While dating apps have been around since the invention of the iPhone, the Tinder app has left a significant impression on the market. Tinder uses a location-based network to present users a series of accounts. If a user actually likes an individual or an account, they can swipe the account to the left to show disinterest or swipe it right to show interest. If two individuals swipe right on each other, the app will connect the two so that they can start chatting and hopefully dating. While most users can swipe to their heart's content for free, the dating app has added a series of paid functions that will open up the app's potential.

Tinder has released its premium service called Tinder Plus, Techcrunch reports. The service will cost $9.99 a month and will come with a number of highly-requested features. Most notably, users will now have the ability to "undo" their last swipe and re-check out some individuals who they originally misjudged. So, if someone were to swipe-reject an individual to the left, they would have the ability to take their swipe back if they pay for Tinder Plus. However, that's only for the latest swipe. The system won't let users access more than the last swiped account.

Tinder Plus also adds the "Passport" feature, which will let users search for matches internationally instead of letting their GPS location determine which individuals are available for a swipe.

While users have had unlimited swipes for a long time, Tinder has been experimenting with a like limit for the last month or so. While Tinder did tell Techcrunch that the majority of users don't use all of their swipes, Tinder Plus will provide users with unlimited likes.

Tinder is also planning to announce its own ad product that will bring advertisements to the free Tinder app. All Tinder Plus accounts will be ad-free. However, the ads will not begin until mid-March. Re/Code believes that the ads will be perfect for local entities, such as pubs or restaurants.
