The rumor claiming that Kardashians signed a record-breaking, $100 million-plus deal with E! to extend their reality show another four years could be completely false.
After the report was made public, E! Network reportedly released a statement calling the story "grossly inaccurate."
"The story that ran this morning is grossly inaccurate, and we're not commenting further," a representative for the Network said in a statement, according to Aceshowbiz.com.
The New York Post Page Six reported on Thursday that matriarch and momager Kris Jenner negotiated the deal with the network to continue her family's reality show for four more seasons. The deal would also include several on-the-side projects with her daughters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
Kris' ex-husband, Bruce Jenner, was not included in the deal. However, the former athlete announced he will be leaving "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" after it's upcoming 10th season and will begin filming his own reality documentary series for the network based on his sex transition.
Aceshowbiz.com claimed that the rumor emerged because the family's contract with the network was set to expire after its upcoming 10th season. In 2012, the Kardashians signed a $40 million deal for three more seasons.
