Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital after taking a fall on the video set of her song "#Beautiful." The singer was filming for a remix of the hit song featuring Miguel when she reportedly fell while dancing in her sky-high heels injuring her shoulder.

The 43-year-old pop star's rep told USA Today that Carey was doing fine after doctors had to pop her shoulder back in place. Her hubby, Nick Cannon, was directing the music video and is said to have been by her side attending to her the entire time.

Carey tweeted about the incident posting a photo and writing that for the next couple weeks she will be "sporting a very fashionable sling."

Cannon did an interview earlier with "The Today Show" saying that the injury was a little more serious than merely an injured shoulder.

"Not only did she dislocate her shoulder, she actually cracked a rib and she... chipped her shoulder bone during the video shoot. She was in this nice beautiful gown, heels on and everything and was kind of on this platform and reached and kind of slipped and fell on her whole side."

Cannon said Carey refused to let her husband stay at the hospital and wanted him to instead go back and finish the video adding that once she was released she came back to finish the music video. Cannon said doctors ordered her to rest for the rest of the week because she has a big concert this weekend.

She's set to perform Saturday with the New York Philharmonic on Central Park's Great Lawn for the 2013 MLB All-Star Charity Concert that will benefit Superstorm Sandy Victims.

Her new album, "The Art of Letting Go" is scheduled to be released later this year.
