The fifth entry in the Grand Theft Auto series has been a controversial game, to say the least. On top of receiving one of the highest game ratings of 2014 as well as a really buggy in-game economy, GTA creator Rockstar Games promised to add the ability to complete heists online with friends in an upcoming update, as well as play the game on PC. While GTA V's latest update did add a lot of features to the game, the PC version and the heists were both missing.

However, Rockstar Games issued a press release on Tuesday that'll give GTA fans everywhere hope. Rockstar announced that GTA V would launch Heists for GTA online on March 10. Up to four players will be able to cooperate and pull off a string of multi-part raids and robberies at a number of locations. Rockstart hasn't released too many details about the new Heist system, or what it will entail.

On top of that,  GTA V will arrive on PC on April 14 in retail stores and as a digital download Rockstar first apologized for the delay: "Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC."

This isn't surprising, considering how high the computer spec requirements are.

Rockstar isn't just going to leave GTA fans hanging, though: "As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online," it announced.
