Kim Kardashian is known for showing her face at exclusive Hollywood parties, but she was no where to be found at any Oscar after-parties.

Her excuse is one known all to well to mother's everywhere - she couldn't find a babysitter!

Instead of appearing at the Oscars, Kardashian took a piano lesson before snuggling up with her daughter, North West, to watch the awards show on TV. Kardashian is taking lessons to learn to play husband Kanye West's song "Only One" on the piano to surprise him!
