Hulu knows what you like.  That's because you've programmed it all along.

And now you can watch your favorite shows whenever you want -- and from your handheld device -- courtesy of the new Watchlist feature the TV on-demand company created.

Hulu's Watchlist tailors your viewing habits into a personalized menu based on algorithms that viewers input.

With Watchlist, viewers can tag a show, clip, episode or movie, and Hulu takes in the data like a favorite program, queue, and shows they would typically watch. The Watchlist creates a prioritized feed based on when new content is available, then presents the episodes to the viewer.

"We've taken the best aspects of these three features, and turned them into a single, smarter place to keep track of your content," Hulu Product Manager Devin Elston wrote in a blog post Tuesday, PC magazine reported.  "The result is a Hulu experience that is easier and more personalized than ever before, that's easily accessible across all your devices."

With Watchlist, the viewers' favorite shows are prioritized to the top of the order.

Digital Trends points out that a good selling point is if you watch "American Idol" fairly regularly but don't seem anxious to watch the latest group of aspiring singers do their thing right away, Watchlist will push those episodes back so you can watch them later.

Watchlist combines the best of Queue, Favorites, and Shows You Watch tabs, mixes them all up, and presents them in a more orderly and prioritized arrangement.

At the moment, Watchlist is available for those who actively want to try it out by visiting hulu.com/watchlist. It works on Hulu's main site, as well as on iOS and Android devices, Apple TV, Roku players and Roku TV, PlayStation 3, Amazon Fire TV, and the latest Samsung TVs and Blu-ray players.

Watchlist is expected to roll out in the next two months.
