UFC 162 takes place on Saturday, July 6. The event begins at 10 p.m. ET, featuring the main event of Anderson Silva versus Chris Weidman. Watch the live stream HERE.

The main event of UFC 162 is the Middleweight title match between Silva, the defending champion, and Weidman. Silva defends his title for the 11th time, while Weidman steps in to the octagon with an undefeated record, MMAJunkie.com reports.

Hype suggests Weidman can be the one to finally dethrone Silva. Weidman, 29, boasts a perfect 9-0 record - three wins by knock out, three by submission and three by decision. His most recent win came against Mark Munoz via KO during the "UFC on Fuel TV" match on July 11, 2012.

Weidman has an impressive background. Twice he was named an NCAA All-American wrestler at Division I Hofstra University, had a solid outing at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championship and has a perfect record after four years as an MMA fighter.

His background of submission grappling and collegiate wrestling makes him a dangerous threat on the mat, where Silva is weakest.

Weidman's best chance to end Silva's seven-year reign as middleweight champion is to get him on the ground.

Still, Weidman is the 2-to-1 underdog in the bout. Silva has 20 knockouts under his belt, including seven that won "Knockout of the Night." Silva sports a 33-4 record, and he hasn't lost in his last 16 appearances in the octagon.
