Pink would "rather go naked" than walk around wearing insanely expensive fur coats. The 35-year-old singer is PETA's latest supporter of its iconic "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign, which sheds a light on how some animals become fashion statements.

"I've always felt that animals are the purest spirits in the world," Pink told US Weekly. "They don't fake or hide their feelings, and they are the most loyal creatures on Earth."

The "Just Give Me a Reason" singer admitted that she has worn fur in the past but she's "wised up."

"I would like to say I've always been fur-free. Unfortunately, I went through a selfish phase and wore fur on a couple of occasions. But I wised up and now boycott fur completely," she said in a statement. "I wish everyone was forced to learn the horrors that these animals go through for fashion trends. I hope fur-wearers get bitten in the ass by the same kind of animal they wear on their back."

Pink's ad will be unveiled Wednesday night in a 90-foot billboard in the middle of New York City's Times Square, according to E! News. Past celebrities who've gone naked for PETA include Khloe Kardashian, Bethenny Frankel, Joanna Krupa, Nia Long, Holly Madison, Eva Mendes, Christian Serratos, Wendy Williams and Olivia Munn.

Last year, Kardashian was seen rocking a faux fur coat with the words "Fxck yo fur" on the back. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star explained that she wasn't with PETA anymore but she "stands for kindness."

"Treat others the way you want to be treated. This includes the ones w/a voice and the ones wo," she tweeted.
