Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence found success again on television with "Melissa & Joey," but the show will come to an end this summer.

ABC Family has cancelled the comedy after four seasons, according to TheWrap. The show will finish with more than 100 episodes.

"We are proud of the milestones 'Melissa & Joey' has achieved, being the network's first sitcom to reach 100 episodes and the network's first comedy to win a People's Choice Award," Karey Burke, executive vice president for ABC Family Programming and Development, told TheWrap in a statement.

Lawrence and Hart's characters started the fourth season off as newlyweds and are learning how to juggle their new relationship status. Joe, the former "manny," is now a personal trainer and has recently discovered a teenage daughter (Jada Facer) that he never knew about.

"Now that the kids are grown and Mel and Joe have married and are looking toward starting a family, it seemed like a natural time to bring the series to a close. We are grateful to Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence and the whole cast and crew who worked so hard on this successful show," Burke said.

Taylor Spreitler and Nick Robinson also star on the show as Mel's niece and nephew, Lennox and Ryder Scanlon.

"Melissa & Joey" will air its 100th episode as the midseason finale on March 18. It will then return this summer to wrap up the show.

ABC Family still has comedies "Baby Daddy" and "Young & Hungry."
