Singer Dionne Warwick hasn't traveled to Atlanta to be with her family as they hold a vigil for Bobbi Kristina Brown because she's reportedly been in the hospital for the past two weeks. According to TMZ, the 74-year-old slipped and fell in the shower last month and had to be taken, via ambulance, to the hospital.

A source said the incident happened on Jan. 24 - exactly one week before Brown was hospitalized - at her New Jersey home. Reportedly, Warwick underwent ankle surgery and was released from the hospital on Thursday.

Hollywood Life previously reported that Warwick was having a very difficult time dealing with Brown's situation.

"Dionne is too old for this and her heart is weak," the source said. "She's gone through this before with Whitney and it nearly killed her. To think Bobbi Kristina won't make it through will rip poor Dionne to shreds."

"She cannot face Bobbi Kristina and look at her while she's in this condition. It's too hard for her," the source added. "It's like looking at Whitney's breathless body all over again. Dionne was one of the family members who made sure Whitney looked her best before they put her in her coffin. She doesn't want to have to be the one to do the same thing for Bobbi Kristina."

According to USA Today, Brown's grandmother, Cissy Houston, was finally making her way to Atlanta to be with the family. It's not clear why Cissy didn't travel to Atlanta earlier but she and Brown haven't always had the best relationship.

Brown and Cissy had a public falling out back 2013 when Cissy released the book "Remembering Whitney," which included private details about Whitney Houston's life. Brown, 21, has been in the hospital since Saturday after she was found face down in a bathtub filled with water at her Georgia home.

There have been reports that the situation doesn't look good for Brown, who has been in a coma for the past several days, but her family is still hoping for a recovery.

"Though it seems the odds are against her, though doctors don't see any hope for change, though we might want to play detective and find out how she got there, though it looks impossible for her to stand again STILL PRAY FOR BK #StillPrayForBK Campaign starts NOW," Brown's cousin Jerod Brown posted on Facebook.
