Deon Sanders is officially divorced and couldn't help announcing the news on Twitter. The former Dallas Cowboy and Hall of Famer has been in a nasty battle with his now ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, ever since filing for divorce 18 months ago. According to The Dallas Morning News, the divorce was finally approved in a Texas court Friday morning and Deion had no shame in letting the world know that he was beyond happy about the news.

According to his tweet the former pro-athlete will get full custody of their three children while Pilar will get visitation rights, Deion will also get to keep the mansion and Pilar has to pay her own legal fees. Even though this was a huge victory for Deion, the drama is far from over. According to OMG Yahoo!, Pilar's attorney, Larry Feidman, said his client has filed several claims against her ex-husband including "fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, mental distress and physical abuse."

Deion and Pilar first married in 1999 with Deion filing for divorce almost two years ago. Pilar remained living in the house following the split, with many believing the divorce was amicable but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The couple fought over who would get full custody of their children and Deion accused Pilar and one of her friends for jumping him in front of the kids. The former football player tweeted about the incident telling his followers to pray for him and his kids. He later posted a picture of the children filling out police reports against Pilar. During one of the court proceedings, Pilar reportedly told the judge that her husband did steroids while he was in the NFL which caused the athlete to storm out of the court room.

Besides thanking God that his marriage was officially over, Deion tweeted some advice for his male followers.
