Bob Dylan: Shadows In The Night (Columbia Records)
Bob Dylan has always done exactly what he's wanted to do, and in recent years that's meant making some rather interesting choices, like starring in the bizarre film "Masked And Anonymous" and releasing a Christmas album. Next up? "Shadows In The Night," Dylan's homage to classic American standards like "Some Enchanted Evening" and "Autumn Leaves."

While Dylan's camp is not calling the album a Frank Sinatra tribute, each of the 10 songs were performed by Sinatra at some point in his career. It's also worth noting that Sinatra would have turned 100 this year, a fact that is likely not lost on Dylan.

Watching Dylan close out a concert at New York's Beacon Theater with "Stay With Me" was quite possibly the most memorable musical moment of 2014 for me. You can hear his take on the song below:

Father John Misty: I Love You, Honeybear (Sub-Pop Records)
During indie folk band Fleet Foxes' mid-2000s rise to popularity, frontman Robin Pecknold got most of the press. Drummer Joshua Tillman, however, quietly released music that built his critical profile. Since leaving the band, Tillman, under the name Father John Misty, has redefined himself as a swaggering, sarcastic singer, with a Laurel Canyon-flavored brand of smart, psychedelic songs, beginning with 2012's "Fear Fun" and the follow-up, next week's "I Love You, Honeybear."

You can watch Father John Misty's video for "Chateau Lobby #4 (in C for Two Virgins)" below, or listen to the entire record via SAP, a new streaming service launched by Tillman and his former Fleet Foxes bandmate Casey Wescott.

Fifty Shades Of Grey Soundtrack (Fifty Shades of Grey)
"Fifty Shades Of Grey" fever spreads to the music world with the release of the film soundtrack, boasting tracks from Annie Lennox, the Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Sia and more.

Check out the video for Ellie Goulding's contribution, "Love Me Like You Do," below:

Title Fight: Hyperview (Anti- Records)
Punk band Title Fight has essentially redefined itself with "Hyperview," the Pennsylvania outfit's third full-length album and first for Anti- Records, the esteemed home of Tom Waits, Mavis Staples, Tom Waits and Wilco. The energy that drove the band since its formation in middle school is still there, but the ramshackle sound of its earlier output has been replaced with steely, shimmering sonics that envelop introspective vocals in the manner of the "shoegaze" bands that emerged from England in the 1990s.

See and hear for yourself in the video for "Chlorine" below:

The Valentine's Day Dress
Valentine's Day is an excuse to buy a new dress – although that's true every day. Valentine's Day calls for some extra pizazz, and that comes in the form of this sultry, red lace number from BCBGMaxazria, the company that, in my opinion, makes the most beautiful, heart-stopping gowns. You can also try this not-so-ordinary asymmetrical LBD for a more subtle yet sexy look.

A girl's relationship with her hair just got more comfortable thanks to this ingenious curling iron that senses your hand's movements to produce the waves you want.

JewelScent

JewelScent is a line of luxury candles, soaps and body scrubs with a surprise jewel hidden inside each item. Burn enough of your handcrafted Orchard Apple, Tropical Kiwi or Pink Champagne candle to reveal a tiny gold pouch with a ring tucked inside that you can keep long after the candle is done. As the California-based company explains, "a flame and a ring both evoke passion and eternity."

Some of the rings are worth up to $7,500 – so it totally make sense to go all Veruca Salt and buy in bulk in the hopes of finding that one golden ticket – or ring! Candles range in price from $24 to $40.

Loverdose, Miss Dior and Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire
As a perfume junkie, I wear a new perfume every day for a month before I get board with the scent and the bottle sits on my dresser for years. But there are a few romantic, timeless scents I keep coming back to no matter what: Miss Dior, Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire and Loverdose by Diesel.

Loverdose is a particular favorite, with notes of licorice, gardenia, star anise and vanilla that make one powerful "elixir of love." But I swear it's the hardest perfume on earth to find – it's not even sold on Diesel's website. So I recommend going to the one source that sells everything that ever was, Amazon.

DVD/Blu-ray Releases

Dear White People (Lionsgate)

The satirical film exposes the not-so-post-racial America through four black students at an Ivy League-type school. They take issue with a popular "black face" party held by a group of white students and show up to the event to confront the partygoers.

The movie marked the debut for writer and director Justin Simien, who screened his project at last year's Sundance Film Festival. He won the Special Jury Prize for Breakthrough Talent.

Special features on the Blu-Ray/DVD include deleted scenes, outtakes and two audio commentaries: Simien does one solo and then does another with the film's stars Tess Thompson, Tyler James Williams, Teyonah Parris and Brandon Bell. Other features include a making-of special, a music video for "Get Your Life" by Caught a Ghost and PSAs about black people in the stylings of NBC's "The More You Know" and insurance company jingles.

Keanu Reeves gives one of his strongest performances in years that also paid dividends at the box office. He stars as an ex-hitman who seeks revenge on the men who break into his home, beat him and kills the dog his wife gave to him posthumously.

Special features on the Blu-ray/DVD include audio commentary and a behind-the-scenes featurette with co-directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch. Birdman

Michael Keaton has denied the somewhat autobiographical nature of his latest film in which he stars as an actor trying to stage a comeback and shed the superhero persona most audiences know him as (Birdman in the movie, Batman in real life).

Whether director Alejandro G. Iñárritu had Keaton in mind while writing the script with his three co-writers or the actor landed the role by pure coincidence, their combined efforts on the film have earned it nine Oscar nominations. "Birdman" tied with "The Grand Budapest Hotel" for most nominations for the 2015 Academy Awards.

The film also stars Edward Norton and Emma Stone, both nominated for their performances, along with Zach Galifianakis and Naomi Watts.

iTunes has the film available for purchase.

Tootsie
Sydney Pollack's 1982 film still stands as not only one of the funniest movies ever, but also as an outstanding social commentary on sexism.

Dustin Hoffman stars as a down-and-out male actor whose reputation for being difficult to work with stands in the way of new opportunities and leaving him broke. To relaunch his career failing career, Hoffman character reinvents himself entirely – as a sassy woman. What's more, he's shocked to discover that his new self is far more confident, less troublesome and perhaps even a better actor despite being downright unattractive!

The film received 10 Oscar nominations and earned Jessica Lange her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The film also stars Teri Garr, Dabney Coleman, Charles Durning, Bill Murray and Pollack.

It will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime.

Big Hero 6

Walt Disney Animation Studios took advantage of its parent company's purchase of Marvel Entertainment and pulled out this obscure Marvel Comics title to inspire the studio's follow-up to "Wreck-It Ralph" and "Frozen."

The movie follows 13-year-old Hiro Hamada and a personal healthcare robot called Baymax, created by Hiro's older brother Tadashi. After a tragic loss, Hiro gives Baymax a few upgrades and forms a high-tech superhero team with four close friends.

iTunes has the film available for purchase.
