Eli Manning may not be in the Super Bowl this year but the quarterback for the New York Giants has a lot to celebrate. According to US Weekly, his wife Abby McGrew gave birth to the couple's third child on Thursday, Jan. 29.

A rep for Manning confirmed the news to US and revealed that the pair named their newborn - a girl - Caroline Olivia. Manning and McGrew are already parents to two girls: Ava Francis, 3, and Lucy Thomas, 19 months.

The baby announcement comes just hours after McGrew announced she was pregnant. In fact, she was spotted walking around New York City with the football star earlier on Thursday. Back in June, Manning told US that Ava was already starting to development an interest in sports, especially tennis.

"She's really funny," he said. "The first time I took her to some tennis courts she said, 'Daddy, what's that game?' And I said, 'that's tennis.' And she said, 'I win at that game!' And I just went, 'Oh, goodness gracious.'"

"She's starting to get into some sports. She's starting to play a little soccer," he added.

Manning and McGrew got married in 2008 after meeting in college. The two have not publicly confirmed their big announcement and they have not shared any photos of baby Caroline.
