Rapper Lil' Wayne has filed a lawsuit seeking to end his contract with fellow rapper Birdman's record label, Cash Money, and be paid $51 million, TMZ reported on Thursday.

Wayne claims Birdman and his agency violated their contract by holding onto tens of millions of dollars the label owes him after he made his long-awaited album, "Tha Carter V."

Wayne would like to walk because, according to the parameters of the agreement, he's entitled to if he isn't paid.

Wayne also claims that through Young Money recordings, he's is the joint copywriter owner of all its music including tracks by Nicki Minaj, Drake and others.

The rapper is supposed to already get a $8 million advance when he started recording C5 in December 2013, and another $2 million when it was finished. Wayne claims he hasn't received a penny, Hot New Hip Hop reported.
