Director Coulson and his team will keep Skye under observation as she starts to display unusual behavior in the midseason premiere of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

ABC aired the first teaser for the Marvel TV show, which returns on March 3, during a new episode of "Agent Carter" on Tuesday night. The events of the winter finale left Skye with a "devastating secret" and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will have more questions than answers when it comes to their young colleague.

"We're dealing with forces that we don't understand," Coulson (Clark Gregg) states in the promo.

Of course, the audience already knows the reason for Skye's strange behavior. Her exposure to the Terrigen Mist in midseason finale completed her Inhuman transformation, and gave her unexplained powers that cause her to blow out the power.

"There's something very wrong with me," she whispers as she clings to one of her teammates.

Her new condition also puts S.H.I.E.L.D. in a tight spot.

"All along S.H.I.E.L.D. has kind of been about protecting people from what they don't know about, which often means people who are on the index -- people who have powers because they've been kind of mutated or given powers by technology or Hydra or various alien artifacts. Inhumans represents a different chapter," Gregg told ComicBookMovie.com. "At least in the comics, the Inhumans, they're a race of people who've been transformed... and that generates a lot of fear."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will return on Tuesday, March 3 at 9 p.m. and will run uninterrupted until the season finale on ABC.
