Ever since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (AKA Obamacare), the country has been divided over the program. On top of that, there's been one technical problem after another for the last two years. Whether it's a faulty website or troubling customer service practices, there's always something wrong. And if recent reports are correct, those problems might increase in the near future.

Healthcare.gov went crazy in 2013. The site was considered a technical and political failure by news outlets across the political spectrum. The website kept recording mistakes, as well as making it impossible for some to register within the allotted time. These complications occurred because of the failure of CGI Federal, who promised they could finish building the site by the preset deadline. However, the results were lacking. The site lacked many of its critical functions and was inoperable at times. The White House had to fire CGI Federal and hire another company to fix the website.

However, The Daily Caller discovered a report from the Federal Procurement Data system about the IRS in which it awarded CGI Federal a $4.5 million contract in August. CGI was hired to build a system that would provide critical functions and management support for managing the new Obamacare tax program.

The Montreal-based company says on its website that it "is committed to helping our clients achieve their business goals; to providing our professionals with rewarding careers; and to offering shareholders superior returns over time. At CGI, we are in the business of delivering results."

However, if its history with Healthcare.gov is any sign of the company's sense of quality, then it's unclear why Obama or the IRS even considered hiring this company again.
