Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa said "I Do" while being surrounded by friends, loved ones and their son Sebastian - but missing from the celebration was Rose's family.

In an interview with the Oprah Winfrey Network for the documentary "Light Girls," the 21-year-old model revealed that a majority of her family did not attend her wedding to Khalifa because the rapper is African American. Rose is of Cape Verdean and Italian descent.

"With my family, they feel like they're more superior or better than an African American because we're Creole and we have culture and that's something I battle with most of my life," Rose explained, according to E! News. "It's more of the older people in my family."

Rose and Khalifa tied the knot in August of 2013, just six months after welcoming their first child together. The model-turned-actress admitted that she is still upset over her family's disapproval of her nuptials.

"It's such a sensitive subject that it's hard to explain yourself without sounding mean or bitter or angry, but I am," Rose shared. "I'm angry that my family is like that and they want to pass so bad that they raise my mom and my uncles and my aunts to not fully know their culture."

She added that her family views on culture are slowly changing.

"Our younger generation, we've embraced it so much and I feel like that's why my father is white."

Unfortunately, Rose and Khalifa filed for divorce last September, citing irreconcilable differences as their reason for separating.
